Bella Vista & Kellyville Metro Open Spaces
Description
Marsfield Common is a thoughtfully designed, community-focused development that reimagines the former TG Millner Field into a vibrant residential neighbourhood anchored by a diverse and inclusive landscape. Central to the proposal is “The Common” – a 10,000m² public park set within stands of existing trees and biodiversity corridors. This green heart offers a rich variety of active and passive recreational experiences including nature play, multi-use courts, fitness loops, and quiet spaces for relaxation. Streetscapes and laneways are guided by Water Sensitive Urban Design principles and significant tree planting, creating comfortable, green, and walkable environments. The landscape vision celebrates natural systems, promotes environmental sustainability, and enhances community well-being, offering access to nature at every doorstep through rehabilitated ecosystems and connected open spaces.
